The Seneschal’s House is one of the notable historic homes of Saint-Benoît-du-Sault. Largely dating from the 15th and 17th centuries, it combines an older residence, a later wing, and a terrace overlooking the former ditches. Its name comes from local tradition, supported by a sculpted seneschal’s helmet above the doorway, and reflects the village’s rich administrative and seigneurial past.
